Dear Diary,

Today I surprised my human.
She was sitting in the sun, reading a book, not paying any attention to me.
So I pecked her lightly on the foot and stared at her.
When she put the book down, I hopped up on her knee to get a cuddle.
Never did that before, and it really surprised her. It was a nice cuddle.
I think I like sitting on knees. Maybe I’ll lay an extra egg tomorrow and won’t hide it this time, so the human doesn’t starve.
I did claim the chair as my own later.
